No part of Sydney has more selective schools within reach than the north shore: North Sydney Boys and North Sydney Girls in Crows Nest, Hornsby Girls, Normanhurst Boys, and the Manly campus of Northern Beaches Secondary College. The tutoring market has organised itself around the train line accordingly — Chatswood is its hub with fifteen selective-prep campuses, Hornsby follows with nine, and Gordon, Turramurra and Pennant Hills fill the gaps between.
