Privacy notice
Selective Papers NSW provides online practice papers for parents and their children. Contact yaniv@selectivepapersnsw.com about this notice or your information.
Information used to provide practice
When you claim a free paper or buy a pass, we collect a parent's email and the child's first name. We use these for access, purchase and practice emails, and to label the child's pass. Signing in uses an email link. We store practice attempts, answers, flags, timing and results so you can resume, review and track progress. Feedback you submit may include your message and email.
Supabase provides our database and sign-in service. Cloudflare hosts the site and handles requests and operational logs. Those services receive technical information needed to run the site, such as IP addresses and request details.
Payments and email
Airwallex handles the payment form and payment details. Our purchase records contain the parent email, pass type, child's first name, amount, currency, payment reference and status; we do not store card numbers in our database. Passes are one-off purchases.
Resend delivers purchase and sign-in emails. Email marketing is a separate choice: the paid checkout checkbox is optional; a free full-paper claim requires the stated email consent. Subscribed contacts can receive practice tips, offers and eligible practice reminders or progress emails. Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails to stop them. Unsubscribing does not cancel a paid pass or erase purchase and practice records.
Browser storage and measurement
Essential browser storage supports sign-in. Previously saved tracking refusals are still respected by this browser. This browser can also remember a claimed free paper, its access link and expiry, parent email and child's first name, to show remaining access and prefill checkout. That free-paper memory is cleared when a pass purchase is confirmed. You can clear browser site data to remove locally stored information.
Site analytics and ad measurement run by default on public pages, including practice previews and pricing, where our regional policy permits. There is no tracking popup or on-site tracking-choice control. We keep measurement off for visitors identified in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, and when location is unavailable. Cloudflare supplies the country for that check; we do not store it or send it to our measurement providers. Previously saved analytics or ad-measurement refusals remain effective separately in this browser. We also respect Global Privacy Control; an unreadable prior preference keeps measurement off.
- Site analytics: PostHog receives browsing and offer events on public pages without parent email or child names. We disable automatic form capture and session recordings, exclude private account and test pages, and remove query strings and personal fields. Analytics identifiers are held in memory for the page session.
- Ad measurement: Google Ads uses advertising cookies and ad-click identifiers to connect ad visits to free-paper claims and purchases. A purchase conversion contains its actual payment value, AUD currency and an opaque order ID to prevent duplicate counting. We do not submit parent email or child names to Google, and disable personalised advertising signals and enhanced conversions in our tracking code.
Measurement restrictions do not prevent practice or purchase. Necessary provider requests still occur, including sign-in, checkout and email services. The site’s typefaces are served from our own site.
Access, correction and deletion
Contact us to ask about information held about you or your child, to correct it or to request deletion. Access expiry and marketing unsubscribe do not automatically delete purchase or practice records.
Our service providers may process information outside Australia. Contact us for details about the current provider setup or with a privacy concern.
